Pitchhiking

Tomorrow is the day to cross our little country, Bulgaria, in case you've forgotten, using a cost-efficiency proven method - pitchhiking. This is similar to hitchhiking but is left for those selected few that have the balls to take the longest road (Sofia - Varna) in Bulgaria and go though it in some 12 hours. For comparison, a train will cover the distance in about 8 hours.

Such rugged dudes of the survival kind are known as "pitches" or "pitch", singular. It stands for what would roughly be a cool dude in English.

The safest way to travel is using one's imagination. Pitchhiking is the best of the rest.

Still, being a rugged, scar-faced pitch doesn't mean you need to go the hardest way and turning the cold shoulder to technological advances... This time, battling hesitant and selfish drivers, Emo will try to make it easier with a pretty big white paper sign reading - "Varna - be good". And the second 'a' of Varna will look like the Peace symbol... An illustration is coming soon ;)
